If it’s not broken… don’t try to fix it.
The last few months have trying. The girls have been doing home learning, three of us caught covid and to manage we tried Hello Fresh to help with meal planning and shopping. Thankfully now things seem to be getting back to normal. The girls are back in school. After school activities are kicking back in and I have become the taxi driver ferrying everyone around again. This meant I had to get back to being organised meals around everybody’s schedules and so here I am back again. I also want to make sure the meals are healthy and have been looking at the British Heart Foundations guidance on portion sizes and reducing fat wherever possible but not reducing on flavour.
Looking through my cookbooks I found a recipe in Mary Berry’s Absolute Favourites (the link below is to the BBC Food website), so I will trying my hand at these.
